The Smartest Year 2s in Town!

Last week, the children and I acted out the last page of our book 'The Smartest Giant in Town' by Julia Donaldson. The children loved being different characters and completed some incredible writing about feelings. Well done Year 2!

Visit to St Anne's

As part of our RE topic of 'Belonging', Year 2 went to church to find out about baptisms and symbols. We were symbol detectives and went on a hunt around the church to find some important Christian symbols and we found out why they are important. We then watched a baptism and found out why this is so important in 'belonging to the church' for Christians. We had a wonderful time and would like to thank all of the volunteers and Rev. Lindsay for all of their help in delivering an amazing session.

Check out our art!

'Year 2 have been recreating our own Lowry images this week using oil pastels. We are looking forward to adding in our people to the forefront to make it stand out!'

ICT Skills

Year 2 have been using their programming skills this week with bee bot! We have been learning about the meaning of algorithms, execution of algorithms, program and debugging.
