As a school situated in a village with a military barracks, Marne Barracks, as well as serving families who travel to us from Catterick Garrison, we have always provided for children from Service Families. Typically, the percentage of Service children in our school can be between 30-35%.
We work hard to provide an amazing educational experience for all of our children regardless of their family circumstances. However, we do provide a fully supportive transition package for children from Service families and very much cater for such children, and their families, on a case by case basis. Our staff have knowledge and expertise in welcoming children from Service families and work incredibly hard to ensure they feel part of our school community instantly.
